What causes itching at injection sites and how can I prevent it?

Itching can result from minor histamine release (normal immune response), allergy to components in the formulation, or dry skin. Most mild itching resolves within hours. To prevent: ensure proper site rotation, apply moisturizer to injection areas (not immediately before/after injecting), use antihistamine if needed, and avoid scratching which can introduce infection.
