reconstitution

Why are there visible particles or clumps in my reconstituted peptide solution?

Particles indicate aggregation from improper reconstitution (shaking, temperature shock), expired peptide, or contamination. A properly reconstituted solution should be clear without visible particles. Do not use solutions with particulate matter as this indicates protein degradation or sterility compromise. USP sterile preparation standards require visual inspection for particulate contamination.
